Pop Art Princess puts Bitcoin art in orbit
Known for sparkly, surreal canvases, she’s the first Polish artist to exhibit at Kennedy Space Center

Pop Art Princess isn’t just painting about Bitcoin – she’s sending it to the moon. Through a collaboration with Copernic Space and Lady Rocket, the Polish artist’s work will be permanently etched onto nickel plates and included in a private space payload set to launch at the end of the year.
“This piece will literally go to the moon in December,” she told The Crypto Radio at Bitcoin FilmFest 2025. But it's not just symbolism. “Lady Rocket's mission is to set Bitcoin in pop culture,” she explained. “They want to set Bitcoin as the official currency of space.”
The idea might sound like science fiction, but the project is rooted in a vision of the future where space culture, technology, and financial tools intersect. “Their main mission is to set Bitcoin as the official currency of space, so if in the future we go into space, we will pay by Bitcoin,” she said.
In February, Pop Art Princess became the first Polish artist to exhibit at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Her 40x40 cm painting Moon Bitcoin Fever was featured at the exhibition and is now touring the U.S.
While the moon-bound copies are etched on to nickel, the originals remain on Earth. But their status has changed. “The original artworks that were copied to go to the moon on those nickel coins – the [versions that remain] here on Earth – are official space assets,” she said.
From curiosity to canvas
Bitcoin entered her art the same way other ideas had before – through curiosity. “I started making Bitcoin-related art September last year, because that's the time when I started actually learning about Bitcoin,” she said.
As she explored the topic, it naturally shaped her creative direction. “All of my art is connected to everything I learned when I started investing in Bitcoin,” she said. Rather than working from abstract ideas, she pulls directly from the stories, symbols, and values she’s encountered.
Her style is instantly recognizable – bright, intricate, and designed to engage all senses. “I use a lot of mixed media. My paintings are really sparkly, shiny, a lot of beads, Swarovski crystals, holographic textile,” she said. “I like my paintings being alive when you put a flashlight on them.”
But it’s not just sparkle for sparkle’s sake. Each work contains layered references and personal messages. One piece features the letter "B" as both a symbol of Bitcoin and a quiet reminder to pause and breathe, while another reimagines the Addams Family as eccentric Bitcoin holders steering a bubbling pot.
“The Addams Family, they were always very wealthy, but as weird as they were, they also had a sense of business,” she said. “So if someone would relate the Addams Family right now, they could be Bitcoin wealthy, because I'm sure that Gomez would have bought Bitcoin in 2009.”
By merging popular imagery with Bitcoin’s ideological roots, she aims to invite curiosity and challenge preconceptions. “I don't want to do empty paintings without meaning,” she said.

What’s next for Pop Art Princess
Looking ahead, she plans to share more about the project in Poland, complementing Lady Rocket’s efforts in the U.S. But she also sees it as the start of something broader: using her art to reach people who might never have considered Bitcoin.
She’s working on new Bitcoin-themed pieces and expanding her presence on platforms that align with her values. Beyond Instagram and LinkedIn, she’s preparing to join Nostr – a decentralized social media network that resonates with the same principles of openness and censorship resistance found in Bitcoin itself.
She’s also considering how her unique visual identity could translate into branded materials or collectibles that extend the impact of her moon artworks. That could include educational tools, physical prints, or interactive displays that allow others to engage more directly with her Bitcoin-themed universe.
